the one cool thing about this season (and there are very few): alcide's dad is the terminator 2!
fly-vision is really annoying. i can't see shit.
jason and sookie's ghost parents are uber-creepy.
"that train has already sailed!" - even on a murderous rant, jason still delivers! although not as good as his "parrot-phrasing" from last season. even if the season sucks, ryan kwanten still rocks.
there is something suspicious about lafayette's cocktail. why is he insisting that everyone drink? did he put something in it? is lafayette not lafayette?
and who is this crazy lady who wants to jump andy bellefleur? when was the second time that andy slept with maurella? i don't recall that at all. was it when the sheriff took jason to the faerie club the first time?
ok, it took me waaaay too long to figure out that steve newlin is not really steve newlin. not until several Q's about his lack of southern accent, actually. duh.
andy bellefleur is a baby daddy - FOUR times! that double what sookie's going to have.
alcide + V = really bad idea. i predict we'll be needing some V Anonymous meetings next season...
chancellor sharon osbourne's death was the most interesting one i've ever seen on true blood - wow! but does that really count? there was no wood or silver - will her body reconstitute itself? oh and sam has vampire goo in his butt crack. actually he kinda looks like lilith.
HOLY CRAP - pam and tara?!?! even though jessica called it, i still wasn't getting those vibes from the looks they were trading at the jail cells. i thought it was more of a maker/progeny pride/affection thing. oops.
uh-oh, salome drank all the lilith blood. i've got a bad feeling about this. bill switched the blood, didn't he??
ohhhhhh he did, silver in the blood. so bill really is still drinking the kool-aid. well that sucks. i don't like villain, idiot bill.

- as season finales go, that was pretty terrible.
- so will bill have to spend the entire next season nekkid and covered with blood? will there be a next season?
- where is the real steve newlin?
- the pam/tara kiss had zero spark to it.
- the alcide/wolf pack story was anti-climactic. so alcide takes V and beats JD to death. and JD didn't even put up a good fight. WTH? and then it just ends with alcide taking over the pack? huh??? the other question is - whose vamp blood did daddy herveaux have that made it so superior? and how did he get it?

- this episode would have made a great penultimate episode, setting up for a big finale. is there another episode i don't know about?
- where are the cliffhangers? is luna dead? what is bill? how will andy raise all those babies? that's it. oh and warlow...although there was no mention made of him in this episode at all. explains why i totally forgot about him.
- so i guess holly, lafayette, arlene and jane were only present for some comic relief.
gosh this episode/blog is so terrible that i don't even want to post it.
post season comments:
- ok for the most part, this season was just awful. it was slow, confusing and never really went anywhere. all the characters were split up into way too many storylines.
- russell edgington was totally wasted. they awesomely brought back a great villain and just squandered it.
- we now know that even alcide had his awkward teenage years.
- chris meloni was also wasted this season. why introduce this big character only to kill him off 3 episodes later?
- another character that i was hoping would get to stick around - molly. at least she went out fighting. now i need to go re-watch the entire veronica mars series. oh enrico colantoni, where are you hiding these days?
- the authority, sanguinistas, queens and sheriffs: this season really mucked up the hierarchy for me. i have no idea who's what or where. and i find that i don't really care.
- what happened to lafayette and his brujo-ness?
- glad that terry's ifrit storyline wrapped up (because it was painful to watch) but sad that noel crane didn't have a better/bigger role.
- this season seemed extremely lacking in sex scenes. not that i really care for them either way but this show (and most HBO fare) has always been so characterized by them. there's been plenty of gratuitous nudity (sheriff andy?) but could it be that i've become desensitized to it now?
- i thought the faeries were ugly and evil? didn't they try to trap sookie last season? but now she's running to them for help and they're having a party in a field.
season hightlights:
- naked full frontal alcide
- the fight between jason and jess
it's a short list. here's hoping that TB can redeem itself next season. don't know how but one can hope. for now i'll be counting the days until game of thrones returns - march 31, 2013!
